As a prelude to the Moray mix in June we are holding a mini version this bank holiday weekend.
Saturday sees INVOC holding a level C event in their secret gem - Battan.
On Sunday we have a Forres event - Sanquhar Wood for U 16's and those that won't do the streets, and an urban event planned by me in the town. As I'm also planning the Lossiemouth NUL at the Moray Mix its an opportunity to get into my style. Expect the usual route choices, but also sections of sprint O style.

Well part 1 was fantastic planned by an M14 in one of Scotland's best forests in superb condition.
Tomorrow promises to be a classy urban event - (I know I'm the planner

Thebtiny numbers we had this weekend suggest that there are just too many major events around to attract people out for hyet another. Though I say it myself you missed a cracker of an urban event with a preview of my style of urban planning before the Moray Mix in June. And there'll be no Routegadget to see it this time.

Re: Moray mini mix
Eddie's dead right - the urban course was a gem. It's a great shame that there weren't more people around to make the effort worthwhile. Putting out controls was challenge enough! The disappointing attendance is probably down to the huge volume of events around this time of year, and the many conflicting attractions. Maroc only had 80-some for their event, and Invoc didn't have that great a turnout on Saturday either.
It's perhaps not a great idea to have clashing events in neighbouring clubs during the summer, especially when a lot of effort has gone in to producng good-quality courses. It makes more sense in winter when people are less likely to want to travel.
