In the absence of anything better to do at work I was thinking about this. We are arriving in Belfast on Friday afternoon and hope to get the the university in time to see the elite sprints.
Who will be getting top prizes?
There seem to be some notable absentees in the mens but surely Rocky must be a serious contender this time around?
In the womens, I think it looks a bit more open (unless I am missing a really good overseas somewhere). Cant decide between Sarah R, Pippa, Tessa, Helen P or B or of course Hollie (if she can reproduce her winning form from Brighton).

Duncan Coombs or Rocky in the men's (there are quite a few people not going to the JK this year from the guys!)

Rocky to win mens, Ravinous and D B-J on podium too?
Ladies looks tighter, I go for Sarah, Hollie and Pippa to make up podium (couldn't say which order) but like andypat says the 2 Helens are going to be in the mix as well. Very close methinks.

Re: Whos going to win the JK sprints?
More importantly, who's going to win the JK Trophy? Defending champions ShUOC are a GG and Ralph down on last year but will surely be hungry, EUOC didn't like seeing ShUOC in the limelight last year and their Edinburgh counterparts Interlopers always look good on paper. SYO are usually there or thereabouts but could NOC be the dark horses this year? That maybe depends on where Peter H's allegiances lie, if he runs for OUOC then they could be in the mix as well...
All very exciting!
A quick question: when was the last time the JK Trophy was won by a team who had all finished the M21E classic race the day before?

ShUOC did it in 2006 (Neil, Dave Sprot, Oli and me). I guess EUOC must've done it since else you wouldn't have asked...
