To recap the options in place for JK competitors – discount codes will be emailed to those registered on the JK website or on request to info@jk2011.org.uk :
Irish Ferries – they operate two routes from Holyhead - Dublin and Pembroke – Rosslare. We understand from those JK competitors who have booked with them so far that the discounted rates are competitive. JK competitors should send their travel requirements direct to clubdeals@irishferries.com
DFDS – they have just confirmed a 20% discount on their route from Birkenhead (Liverpool) – Belfast. This is only available via their Call Centre on 0871 2300330. The agreed discount code is required.
Stena – some caution here until this is confirmed - Stena are finalising what we have been told will be a 10% discount on their web fares. This will apply to all their routes on the Irish Sea and for all fare types – economy, flexible and premium. We're advised that the new Stena fare structure means that the earlier you book the cheaper the price. An agreed website link and discount code will be required which should be provided by 31 Jan.
Nutt Travel – they can provide alternative quotes for all operators and all routes including those from mainland Europe and P&O from Cairnryan or Troon to Larne. Competitors should contact them clicking the JK link on their website and completing their quote request form or telephone them direct on 028 7035 1199.

Re: JK2011 – update on ferry options
I tried Nutt Travel for the Stena Holyhead-Dublin route, but got quoted £10 more than I would have got by buying direct from the Stena website.
I'll book direct with Stena, but will wait to see whether this 10% discount code finally materialises at the end of January.

Aargh! I booked online with Stena on Monday as no announcement made. I don't suppose they will apply the discount retrospectively? Could have saved £25!

any more news on Stena discounts?
I can't hold off booking for much longer. Perhaps that's what they are hoping?

Booked to ensure we got the ferry times required. Gave up waiting for the mythical discount!
