Am trying to sort out an entry class for my son. He's 14 but now gone up to M16. He doesn't want to do M16B because it's TD4 and he wants TD5. He doesn't want M16A because it's longer than my W45L course and he's not doing that much running at the moment and I don't want him to get disheartened by being out for ages moving up to TD5.
It looks as though M21V will suit him. Can I just enter him for that? I think the answer is yes but thought I'd check.

I haven't a clue but have you tried asking the competition organisers? I sent an email on a different topic and got a very speedy response.

Yes. Anyone can enter "M21" courses, regardless of age or gender (so if you want to race him...)

That's a good idea. He definitely tries harder when he's trying (and usually managing) to beat me.

All sorted, he's doing M21v and I'm doing W21s which is same course. Have ordered training map of Kerrara as we fancy a trip there, although sounds like the controls will have been taken down by the time we get there.

Excellent, may go there on the rest day, dependant on weather, boats, tides etc. May do an urban Oban event on rest day if one is planned though as that was fun last time.

Glad you are both happy with the courses you have chosen; but ...
if you change your mind, remember that its possible to change your course for free on-line at Fabian 4 until the closing date at the end of June.
