The long-running tale of "fares next wee" is apparently coming to an end. Stena timetable and fares for 2011 routes into Dublin were confirmed last week and we're advised they are now finalising discounted rates for the JK.
These should be available - yes this week.

I know. It's the JK discounted rate we're waiting for...

Re: JK2011 - Stena fares update
We booked on Wednesday, as we were worried that we wouldn't get the preferred crossings. Got those, but there were no cabins remaining (for dumping kids' stuff/naps) on the return journey (Sat 31st). I suppose we can always cancel and rebook (or vice versa) if the discounts prove to be unmissable.

I'm not holding out much hope for any serious JK discounts. Might be better to book now and get the crossings you want.
Also, do the prices rise as the ferries fill up (as with airlines)?

Booked return on this route on the first week of Jan.
Had previously booked Stranraer to Belfast for outward journey at less than the discounted rates.
Wouldn't advise anyone to hang around waiting.
