The Veterans Home International is today and tomorrow in South Wales, run by Swansea Bay.
England will be hoping to retain the VHI trophy, and build on the success of the JHI victory a couple of weeks ago.

Re: VHI 2010
England in the lead from Scotland then Wales and Ireland.
I realy enjoyed today. The last foot O event I did was Jukola and I had my worst run ever, longest time and longest leg. Today I made less than 30 seconds of errors on nice sand dune terain thus proving that I can navigate. Unfortunatly 2 months with no running at all did show and I was very happy to be only 10 minutes down on Nick Barrable.
Relays tomorrow should be fun they normaly lead to some very interesting finishes with every 4 person team finishing with a short leg (mixed medium long and short for the other 3 legs) It's amazing how normaly there is a realy sprint from the last controll normaly by people of a destinctly older persasion not normaly asociated with relay strint finishes.

Re: VHI 2010
Overall team results:
1. England
2. Scotland
3. Wales
4. Ireland
Business as usual! But this hides the near upset in the Relays where Wales and Scotland were level on points and the narrow overnight gap between England and Scotland was widened significantly.
In addition, the first relay team home was the Welsh quartet of Richard Barrett, James Clemence, Kath Broatch and Liz Campbell.

Re: VHI 2010
Many thanks to SBOC for a well organised weekend. Excellent choice of venue.
Well done for getting the proceedings finished on the weekend, unlike some other sporting event still going on in S Wales.
Also, thanks to Scotland for rolling over so easily in the relays.
I'm sure they'll give Engalnd a better run for their money on home terrian next year.
