Epson TMT-90 printer help please
Can anyone throw some light on the problem I am experiencing with an Epson receipt printer? After working normally for some years, it more recently developed a desire to refuse to print at random intervals. Switching off and back on clears the fault, which occurs on average about every 20-30 splits printouts. It also reverts to the "no cut" setting each time. I am running OE2003 on Windows XP Pro. I have wondered if the driver is at fault, but have been unable to source an updated version from the web. Anyone else solved a similar problem?

Latest driver is 3.02e (released 01/07/2006), available at http://www.pos.epson.co.uk. You'll have to register as a user if not already. If not driver related probably overheating

Definitely worth trying the latest version of the driver but odd that the problem would appear now.
Overheating is possible but VERY unlikely. I have never seen that and have printed long long results on narrow paper.
Incidentally... it is likely to be a Parallel or Serial version... did you know that you can change it into a USB device by changing the interface card and using the new drivers.... quite handy if you don't have a parallel/serial port.

Should think he's sorted it by now - it's four years since he raised the problem!
