Anyone else having problems with Routegadget?
I know that there were problems in the past, but I am having more recently. More often than not Java throws up errors and doesn't allow access to the map. Re-booting the machine usually solves the problem, but I'm not happy to have to do that.
I'm using Windows XP, SP3 with Opera 10.51 and the most recent version of Java.

I have had prob for some time with my desk top with Internet Explorer which are not apparent when I use Firefox.
Mt laptop seems to manage OK with either - maybe some kind of IE issue. HAve you tried using firefox?

I'm in love with Opera

Seriously, I think that Opera is far and away the best browser. It's fast, slim (like me) and sticks closest to Web standards.

Regards of your opinion on preferred browser...
Try a different one, install a few so you can easily tell if it's the browser at fault. Personally I think chrome>>opera (though I do use opera at work)

Re: RouteGadget
I haven't had any problems for a while now, but I'm using Firefox on a Mac.
Some people get error reports, but it depends on what level of error reporting you have set in Java, check your settings.
Other solutions that work for most people are:
Try another browser, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or Opera.
Completely remove Java using the add/remove programs in the control panel and then go to http://www.java.com and re-install it.
