Ranking Local BOF members

The free first year option is only available for Local BOF members - we had one person who wanted to join as National, and we charged him the difference between the Local and National BOF fee, thinking that the Local element was free, but BOF insisted that he should pay the whole National fee. Since then, all our new members have been Local. The main reason for them upgrading from Local to National is usually that they want to compete in a British Championships event.

Slightly off-topic, but the list of benefits of BO local membership includes entitlement to enter the JK. But on the entries page of the JK website the only entry shown as available to non-BO members appears to be for CC courses, which doesn''t really match up. Anyone know what is going on?
