No Longer the Worst........

The observant amongst you will notice that my signature has changed and I'm no longer claiming to be the worst orienteer in the Midlands because I've terminated employment down there rather than improved my performance.
May I use the forum to thank those members of OD, LEI and HOC who have made me so welcome at their mid week events and even accepted my complaints in the spirit they were intended.
If I return (or end up in another region) I know that the orienteering family will be waiting to make me welcome me as an instant friend

Andy - you've reminded me of our club's old slogan (courtesy of winning a particular trophy for small O clubs) which was "the best small orienteering club in Scotland". Unfortunately we were subsequently forced to compete as a large club the following year, coming I believe about 3rd last in the same event.

Our slogan was subtly changed on the day to "Not the worst large orienteering club in Scotland" although I dont believe this ever made it into print.
