What is a "Short Race"?

A race that is short. Is there a problem with that?

Ouch!

But your clever answer masks the fact that there was a valid point behind my question. You can go to the BOF website and find out what a Sprint race is, what a Middle race is, what an Urban race is, etc, but there's no mention of what a Short race is.

However, having dug a little further, I see that the flyer does say that the format

Comprises 4 events, all taking place on Saturdays between January and April.
Each event will consist of a Prologue (~3km) followed by a Chasing Start (~3km).

So, all is well with the world again ...
