Supply of Emit backup cards at events?

Hi. Sorry if this is a stupid newbie question. If you turn up at an Emit-using event, is there always a supply of the backup "labels" readily available? I mean, I thought of buying some in order to be independent of such a supply, but they only come in club-sized quantities and I don't need to pay UKP 28 for so many cards that I would need to live till at least 2119 to use them up at my current rate. Or do people really do that (and sell the other 450 on ebay??) - or what?? Sorry for my profound ignorance and tia for any response.

You can normally get one from enquiries/download at events. I don't think anyone has their own personal supply.
