Not being on expert on what you can catch abroad - is anyone able to give me any advice on the Swiss Week and the risk of TBE in the area??

Do I get a jab as quickly as possible (having just looked at the map on the Maasta site)?

According to the Swiss tick website (http://www.zecken.ch/Karten/karten.html) the area of Schwyz (SW of Luzern) isn't a high risk area for TBE, or FSME as they call it, just a "possibility". Personally, we've just had our third jabs done today, as we're in those forests quite often and I didn't want to take the risk, but I guess the best advice is to talk to a healthcare professional.
