Date for London
Has the date for the London City Race been fixed yet? I would really like to go to the Globe Theatre if possible and feel you probably have to book this up months in advance.

Re: Date for London
12 September
At least that's the date we've just secured permissions for most of what we want to use. Hopefully we can also get permission for a very interesting adjacent bit.
But I'm afraid none of it includes the Globe Theatre.

Re: Date for London
On the topic of city races, anyone in the know have more of an idea about the Durham race? From Attackpoint I've got
Jun 13-14
"A fun relay event on the Saturday followed by the first Durham City Race on the Sunday. A new map, covering the hill colleges and the bailey (with Cathedral and Castle) More details will be up soon..."
Do any UDOC people have more insider info? Thanks in advance!

Re: Date for London
Hi Blanka,
I put that on Attackpoint, there are also very provisional details on the British Orienteering website. The Durham City Race will be on Sunday, the fun relay-type event on Saturday. The Saturday event is also in Durham, only a 10 min walk (max.) from the city centre. We are currently waiting on confirmed permissions but we don't anticipate any problems.
If you want any more specific info, feel free to email me: joanna.halliday 'at' durham.ac.uk
It should be a great event, Durham is an ideal place for a city race!
