After having very few events to be able to attend over November and December suddenly the weekend of 24th, 25th of January arrives and we are spoiled for choice.
The Burns weekend in Scotland
The Waroc weekend in Cumbria
and the British nights and Concorde chase down south
It is like waiting for a bus you don't have any for ages and then three come at once.
I would have liked to go to them all but have opted for the British nights. The night events are my favorite discipline in orienteering. It is also partly due to the fact I had already booked Hotel rooms prior to the Waroc event being announced.
