Initial Details:

Burnham Beeches National Event/Level 1 Event - Incorporating INTERLAND, the Southern Area Championships and an FCC qualifier. The Event also celebrates the 40th Birthday of the Hertfordshire Orienteering Club.

The cunning planners (so cunning you could put tails on them and call them weasels) are designing a full range of courses: S/L for seniors A/B for juniors (which now includes M/W18E, M/W20E, M/W20L/S and M18L/S iaw new guidelines for Level 1 events) and of course extremely testing M/W21E courses. There will also be limited colour coded courses (white to light green) and long and short novice courses suitable for complete beginners of all fitness levels.

Ultrasport, Compasspoint and Wilf's have all indicated an intention to come providing there are enough customers!!!

The JOK chasing sprint will also be in Hertfordshire (Whippendell Woods) the previous day - entry for chasing sprint will be thorough the JOK website, which is at:

http://www.jok.org.uk/

So 2 sprint races one day and a national event the next - too good to miss!

PS I know that technically Burnham/Beeches is in Bucks but it is a HH Map

You are not alone - I jumped to exactly the same conclusion that it had changed again.
